Arrow Awareness Grows in San Antonio
Arrow's San Antonio office gained media recognition from several news networks during an annual Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon held Wednesday, May 26th at The University of Phoenix. Both KABB, Channel 29 and KSAT, Channel 12 covered the appreciation luncheon. Clay Barton, the Vice President of Church & Community Alliances Division, was interviewed as he shared his heart for foster care and appreciation for the local foster families in San Antonio. Guest speaker and former foster child, Chadwick Sapenter shared how foster care affected his life, and encouraged Arrow's foster parents by sharing how truly impactful they are to a child in need.

Chadwick grew up homeless in San Antonio for part of his teenage life. He faced death two times during his youth, but defied the odds after being placed in a foster home at the age of 15. He admitted that foster care turned his life around and gave him an opportunity to become the man he is today! He's now the CEO of a company and sells motivational books, with proceeds focused on helping build schools overseas.

Above all else, the San Antonio staff was able to show gratitude to the incredible foster parents who are always on the front lines. Foster parents and staff enjoyed great food, fellowship and the encouragement provided by Chadwick's journey.
