Victorious Life Church Hosted Arrow's Christmas Party for Foster Families.
Saturday December 12th, church partner, Victorious Life Church hosted Waco's annual Christmas party! The church provided a night filled with games, dinner, pictures with Santa and gifts for every child that attended. Not only were foster/adopt children blessed with presents, but biological children received them too! Members of the congregation also provided an awesome brisket and sausage dinner. Several volunteers from the church came to the party so local families and Arrow staff could just show up and enjoy themselves.
Along with dinner, Santa made a surprise appearance, courtesy of Victorious Life Church and a local photographer came to take family pictures with Santa! Each family will also receive complimentary printed pictures of their time with Santa. In addition, the church was able to give away two completely decorated Christmas trees to foster families.
The pastor and lay leaders from Victorious Life Church, who headed up the event, informed Arrow that they plan to host the Christmas party every year for our families! What an amazing blessing!
Quicksilver Resources Sponsors Christmas for Arrow's North Texas Kids!
Quicksilver Resources Oil-Gas Company graciously hosted the Arlington/Fort Worth Christmas Party on December 12th and sponsored all 161 Arrow foster children in our North Texas offices during the Christmas season! They provided each child with a $75 gift allowance and will hosted a BBQ Dinner at the Stockyards Stations in Fort Worth, Texas for Arrow's North Texas foster families. There were many activities, including pictures with Santa!

Matt Whetzel, Director of Ministry Relations for the North Region, established a relationship with Quicksilver through one of our current foster families. Quicksilver has a long history of caring for foster children in North Texas. They have sponsored Christmas parties and angel tree gifts for children in foster care since 2001! Their efforts for Arrow were absolutely over the top!
