The Hannah Project Provides Portraits to Arrow Families in TexasSomeone once said, "A picture only takes a minute but contains a lifetime of memories." Sharon and Al Kiely know this all too well. As the adoptive parents of Hannah, a primary medical needs child, the Kielys were able to have family portraits taken prior to Hannah's passing. These precious pictures are now precious family treasures.
As Arrow's State Director of Health Care Services, Al knew there were other Arrow parents who also needed to capture a precious moment in time. So the Kielys began The Hannah Project to offer family portraits to all Arrow families, including foster, adoptive and HCS families.
We are so thankful that photographers, Lisa Moguel and Bri Wachsmann responded to bless our families with the talents the Lord gave them by donating their time and talents. And many other photographers across Texas freely gave of their time to bless our families and children during November and December. Our families received a professional photo setting, a disc with all of their pictures, and a finished 8x10 portrait of their family. Portraits were taken at our offices in Spring, Angleton, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Waco, Corsicana, Arlington, Fort Worth and Tyler, with approximately 200 families taking advantage of this offer. It was a wonderful blessing to see the excitement on our family's faces when they received their pictures.
We would not have been able to deliver the finished product to our families without two very special community partners. We extend a very special thanks to Walmart for donating the finished 8x10's, and to Provident Care DME for donating the CD's and jacket covers. Both sponsor's have made it possible for us to give this gift to our families again in 2010!
