Arrow Church Partner Holds "Hope For 100"
Conference in Tyler, Texas

Green Acres Baptist Church, one of our Church partners in Tyler, Texas, conducted a very successful conference last month called "Hope for 100" to raise awareness for the need for Christian Families to become foster/adopt parents and to inform other churches how they can develop their own ministry to foster children. The conference included an "If You Were Mine" presentation and foster care specialty classes throughout the day.

Over 300 people from Green Acres Baptist Church attended "Hope for 100", as well as several others from the community and some from as far away as Minnesota and Tennessee.

The Green Acres program is one of our Arrow Project sites that has enjoyed a great deal of success. The program began to develop in 2007 and culminated in a committee that included chairpersons for foster, relief and respite Care; pre and post adoption support groups; foreign adoption counseling; missions trips to foreign orphanages; and other community based connections to child serving organizations like CASA and Royal Family Kids Camp.

Congratulations to the staff of Green Acres Baptist Church for the tremendous impact you're having in the lives of children and families.
