Anonymous Donor Grants $25,000 to Support California Efforts
On September 28th, Arrow national headquarters was informed by Chris Hubbard, with the California Community Foundation, that an anonymous donor had granted Arrow $25,000 to support our efforts in recruiting and training new foster families in California.
The diligent efforts of Pam Ballard and Melissa Jinariu in our Camarillo, California office to raise awareness of Arrow’s California presence, recruit local church partners to join our mission, and develop new foster families over the past year are bearing fruit in many ways.
Our kickoff event at the beginning of the year at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for pastors and civic leaders led to Pointe Winery’s generous hosting of another pastor informational meeting for Arrow. Pam and Melissa followed up with many of the contacts from both of these events which resulted in church partners hosting informational meetings and eventually training classes. Their efforts have not only resulted in new Arrow foster families in California, but they’ve obviously gained the attention and impressed an individual enough to invest $25,000 in our California office to support Pam and Melissa’s efforts.
Congratulations Pam and Melissa! You have truly fulfilled the admonition of I Timothy 4:15…
"Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them,
so that everyone may see your progress.”
