International Operations: Honduras

Our Honduras Beginnings
In 2008, we conducted several trips to Honduras to determine how we might expand our mission of Helping Kids & Strengthening Families in this poverty stricken country. We discovered that, even though there were organizations that we're trying to serve children, they lack the proper training and resources that we have access to here in the United State. It became event that the immediate and critical need in Honduras was to provide training to staff members in government programs, nongovernmental organizations, orphanages, and other child serving ministries. In 2009, we established our first foreign Arrow office and appointed Terry Mallasch as our Director of International Operations in Honduras to begin addressing these needs.

Our Threefold Mission in Honduras
One - We will provide training, resources and support services to other ministries and nongovernmental organizations. Our goal is to provide these services free of charge to any organization needing them.

Two - We will facilitate networking and building alliances among these groups.

Three - Ultimately we plan to provide direct care services to children by opening a home to serve adolescents who are no longer able to live with their families.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8
