The Child & Family Programs division of Arrow Child & Family Ministries will seek, develop, implement and operate various disciplines of social service programming in order to serve vulnerable children and families in various communities across the United States and abroad.

James Avery, a family-owned jewelry retailer based in Kerrville, Texas has partnered with Arrow to create a new piece of jewelry to honor adoptive families and is donating 300 of these sterling silver Joy of My Heart charms to be given to the parents of each Arrow adoption finalized this year. The Joy of My Heart charm is a large heart embracing a smaller heart, symbolizing a parent's love for their child. The donation was announced at Arrow's 2009 Ambassadors Luncheon, when representatives of James Avery accepted the Ambassador of Purpose Award on behalf of the company for their impact in the lives of children and families through their support of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Paul Avery, executive vice president of James Avery, comments: "We are honored to be able to show our support to families across our many communities with this donation. We trust that with each charm given, our appreciation to those who choose to extend their families through adoption will be shown. It is our hope that we continue to support the impact that Arrow Child and Family Ministries has had on the many children and families across Texas and the United States."
Arrow is proud to be associated with James Avery and we're appreciative of being listed on their website as one of faith based organization they are supporting, along with the Salvation Army, Praying Hands Ranches, and Christian Women's Job Corps.
