KENS-Are You My Family

We’re so pleased to have KENS Television in San Antonio partner with Arrow to find and develop families for the more than 5,000 children waiting for adoption in the Texas Foster Care System.

Use the “Basic Requirements” link to the left to learn about the basic requirements you’ll need to meet in order to be eligible to adopt a child. If you meet these minimum qualifications, we invite you to join us for a Provider Information Meeting where you’ll have the opportunity to visit with several different agencies to get more information and to determine which agency you’d like to help you with the adoption process. If you live outside of the Greater San Antonio area, we’ll be able to connect you with agencies in your area.

“Waiting Children” is a link that will take you to the Texas Adoption Resources Exchange website where you can search their database of Texas children who are currently legally available for adoption. There you’ll find detailed information on each child as well as their picture.

The “Adoption Providers” link will give you a list of agencies that are part of the KENS- Are You My Family program. You can click on their individual links to visit these adoption provider’s websites to learn more about each agency.
