Harvey Flood Relief For Arrow Families

Harvey Flood Relief For Arrow Families

The devastating flooding from Harvey was widespread across southeast Texas. At last count, we had 48 foster families with 60 foster kids in the greater Houston area, Beaumont and in Brazoria County who have either been displaced or have other immediate needs due to the historic flooding.

These families, who are already caring for children who have been traumatized, have lost so much. We are still taking a complete inventory of all the damage, but in many cases the losses are total. Now they must rebuild their lives while taking care of their foster children – and no extra public funds are available to help them replace what they’ve lost.

We are absolutely determined to help our foster families keep their children’s lives as normal as possible. This starts with the basics – food, formula, clothing, diapers, cribs and beds, school supplies, medications, and the necessities of everyday life – so they can regain a footing during a chaotic and extremely stressful time.

Will you help us help them? The cost of reclaiming homes for this many families is overwhelming, and your generous contribution will go directly to our children and foster parents who need our help, while we continue to find more homes for the children coming into foster care who will almost certainly be needing help following one of the greatest disasters in American history.

Any donation you can give, especially when accompanied by prayer, will make the path forward so much brighter for our kids. Just click on the donate button below to make an online donation.

You can also join our National Prayer Call each Wednesday at 10:30am CDT by calling (641) 715-0635 and entering access code 568123. For other ways to help, please email us at HelpingKids@Arrow.org.

Thank you and God bless!
