Overview

From being a foster child rescued from abuse, to coming to know the unconditional love of a Christian foster family, to fulfilling God’s purpose for his life by founding and leading Arrow Child & Family Ministries…the journey of Mark Tennant continues to offer hope and healing for children and families through our many ministry programs.

Since beginning in 1992 with foster care, new services and programs have continued to develop and expand as we fulfill our mission of helping kids and strengthening families. We are grateful to have been used by God in the past to change lives, but we are even more excited and humbled by what He will accomplish through our ministry in the future.

Mark Tennant, Arrow Founder/CEO, will share how his experience of growing up in a Christian foster home changed his life.

Change A Child’s Forever Faith Leaders Luncheon to present the churches role in addressing foster/adopt needs in Oklahoma

Arrow is co-hosting a special complimentary luncheon in Oklahoma City and Tulsa with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives. Pastors and church leaders are invited to attend to learn how their church can make a difference in the lives of the over 8,000 children in Oklahoma foster care, many of whom are in need of adoption especially older and minority children, as well as sibling groups.

Mark Tennant, Arrow Founder/CEO, will share his personal story of being raised in foster care and how his life was changed through the unconditional love of a wonderful Christian family and the work of God in his life. The Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives will present from a government and faith perspective, the difference the local church can make in the lives of children who have been removed from abuse and neglect.
