Training and Resources

Helping Kids, Strengthening Families

Arrow Child & Family Ministries is able to offer quality, scripture-based trainings to assist staff and families in your communities. You can trust that all our training materials have been developed by licensed professionals with experience. We are available to collaborate with your staff to identify training topics that are needed, develop training curriculum and also to deliver that training curriculum to the audiences identified.

We relish the opportunity to educate families, staff and children on a variety of topics. Some of the training and resources we have begun developing include:

  • Internet Safety
  • Child Development
  • Teen Pregnancy
  • Talking to your Children about Sex
  • Behavior Modification
  • Sexual Safety for Children
  • Boundaries in Dating
  • Teaching Boundaries to your Children
  • Signs of Abuse and Neglect
  • Relief Care
  • Foster Care
  • Adoption

This list is just a representation of the training and resources we could provide. We want to empower you to talk with our staff about the topics where you see a need existing and then let us work with you to address those needs.

If you would like any of the trainings or additional resources mentioned, please complete the form attached and someone will contact you to explore what is desired and begin the process of sharing or developing those resources together with you.

Your designated ministry leader and volunteers will receive training from our professional staff on how to develop this vital ministry.

Complete training is also provided to families who choose to become foster or adoptive parents. Our biblically-based training curriculum, Ambassador Family Initiative, thoroughly prepares parents to effectively deal with the needs of children who have been abused or neglected. So when the state or county calls us to place a child with one of your families, they are equipped to raise these foster children to enjoy both a functional adult life as well as a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our desire is not just to inspire the church, but to equip each member of your Arrow Ministry with all they need to serve the weak and the fatherless.

We fully know that not all are called to become foster or adoptive parents. Those who have answered the call are living lives of compassion, in action. Sacrifice, risk, courage and confidence are daily requirements in their homes. We must support those who are serving the children. Our team can share with you practical and effective ways to provide relief to these families. Whether it is short term babysitting, yard work, or help with meals, our heart’s desire is to lift up and support those who need it most.
